Camberwell Garden Bar
A pop-up natural wine bar & bottle shop in a stable
Sunday 3rd June 2018 | South-east London | 5.30pm-10.30pm
Address: 7 Canning Cross, London SE5 8BH
(3 minute walk from Denmark Hill station)
To celebrate the annual Camberwell Open Gardens Day on Sunday 3rd June, we're throwing open the doors of Natural Born Wine HQ to create the city's smallest wine bar in our rustic 200-year-old stable once more.
As it's a Sunday, we'll be coming straight from our stall at Stoke Newington Church Street Market with a wide selection of biodynamic and natural wines, available by the glass, bottle or to take away (we accept cash or card).
Come in and kick back with wines made in sustainable ways in vineyards that are as biodiverse and wild as any Camberwell garden, while shimmying to Sam's 'garden-inspired' playlist.
No reservations or tickets for the bar - just come!
If you would like to see some of the 20 gardens taking part this year before hitting our bar, pop over to 34 Grove Lane between 2pm-6pm for more information. In Camberwell Guild Allotments in Grove Park you can meet beekeeper Gianfranco, see the bees in action at the hive, and even purchase some honey; and ceramicist Rose Nisbet will be offering the opportunity to make ceramic planters at the Blue Shop Cottage at 113A Grove Lane.
As always, tea and a rich range of cakes will be available at 34 Grove Lane to fortify you before, during and after your gardens visit. Please contact Camilla at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to help or donate cakes!
By the glass | By the bottle | To drink in or take away | Beautifully gift-wrapped bottles with the story of their origins | 10% off any case of 12 bottles (including mixed cases)
